It was really cool to see the Hindu depictions. Whenever I read a story, it's always easier to imagine the story with character's faces in mind. Krishna does look feminine and almost beautiful. While reading Gita, I would have imagined him more masculine or strong. Kali sounded just as described in class- badass with her skirt of human hands, necklace of human hands, standing on top of Shiva's body.

I'm very glad you liked it! Yes, Hindu iconography is absolutely gorgeous, and seeing it gives you a new appreciation for the faith.
